Das Racist - Sit Down, Man

Das Racist 2nd full mixtape of the year is full or more all outrageous everything - better than you've ever seen, never have you ever seen anything like it. This time round they recruited a couple handfuls of other rappers (El-P and Despot get the best spots imo) to help see it through. The production is ill as usual thanks to the likes of Diplo and Teengirl Fantasy. It seems to me that this one is a bit more serious than 'Shut Up, Dude', but never fear. It's still totally absurd in the best way possible.

Das Racist - Shut Up, Dude

 

Das Racist is sort of hard to explain. They're a rap group who rap about damn the shit other rappers don't rap about. Combination Pizza Hut & Taco Bell? Check. One dollar cans of iced tea? Check. Faking a patois? Check. But it's not just silly, it's satire, and they do it really well. Wacky beats, wackier flow...

Anamanaguchi - My Skateboard Will Go On

I downloaded this originally because it hosts a remix of Rainbow in the Dark by Das Racist, which is a great song. Turns out the other song is pretty sweet too. A gameboy meets Fang Island meets Ratatat and the three of them get the fuck down together.
